Smell sun block on her hot skin in a bungalow before the day begins
Summer Town, Third Eye Blind
The summer season was coming to an end, and Logan stood on the pier, looking out over the glistening water. Katherine had asked to meet him here, and he was dreadfully certain that it was time for them to say their final goodbyes. Their divine summer romance had been a passionate and euphoric whirlwind.
This was where they had first met. Logan had been feeling keenly lackadaisical on that particular day, escaping to the pier to dodge the demands of tending his parents' waterfront bar.
His reverie was interrupted by her light footsteps on slightly less than dilapidated wooden planks.

Nice one Josh. Liked the imagery and melancholy in this 👍🏼
OK, I'm not expert but I do see a Josh Tatter coming up for romances on Kindle Vella.
