Starting Over

A quick blurb about things...and stuff.

Welcome to Josh Tatter Has Thoughts, my inaugural Substack and another one of my attempts to maintain an interesting and relevant blog.

I have tried the blogging thing a few times over the years, mostly without success or longevity. I got swept up in the blogging boom of the late 2000s/early 2010s, trying out just about every new platform that came along with wildly uneven (and usually amateurish) results. My most successful blogging endeavor was several years ago when I ran the blog for a church I was attending at the time, but even that didn’t last for much longer than a year (if that long).

Now, after almost 10 years, I find myself wanting to jump back into the game because I definitely have thoughts about the way things are going and I find myself in need of an outlet to express them. And, while my specific reasons for starting up a new blog after all this time have to do with some thoughts I have on a recent video game and a recent television show, I plan to write about more than just games and TV. Rest assured that I have many different opinions on many different topics.
