The only thing I found disappointing about this story is the fact it didn't continue when it was finished. I hope this isn't the last we'll see of these characters, but even if it is, it was a fun story with excellent banter.

Well, I did think about killing one (or both) of them off at the end of this story, but I decided I liked them too much, and wanted to leave space for future stories.

Also, I knew SOMEBODY would complain if I did that ::wink, wink::

Honestly, if you had killed them off, I probably would've found a twist like that wildly entertaining. It's not often that you see a famous gunslinger put into a situation like the one Boone was in and end up killed by a couple of no-names. So no, I probably wouldn't have been the one to complain there, but you're probably right that somebody out there would've been cross about it haha

For me it depends on how well it's handled. The majority of the time it's done badly, but your knowledge of the genre and overall writing skill are such that I'm confident if you were to tackle that you'd manage to handle it well.
