I’ll admit I haven’t seen it yet but, considering the utter crap that is being pushed out these days, I don’t hold much hope. Sounds like another disaster, ugh. And, no offense to Denzel, I do like him in some things, but this feels like a strange fit 🤨
Follywood is lucky to make one or two movies a year that are worth seeing at the theater. "Spartacus" was a decent gladiator movie. I wonder why they haven't remade it yet?

Yeah, he's one of several actors who are wildly miscast in this movie.
Such a shame. The original was magnificent.
Second miss in a row from Ridley Scott. I haven’t seen Gladiator II yet, but Napoleon was an absolute abomination.
I haven't seen Napoleon yet, but that's what the general consensus seems to be. I'm still planning to watch it soon, though 😬
Napoleon was so bad it made me start reading David Chandler’s Campaigns of Napoleon just to find more reasons to hate it.

This movie is Schlop levels over 9000
I wager I'll watch the fall of a fledgling franchise from the same couch I read Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire on when it hits streaming.
Man, I knew it was going to be hot garbage, but I still decided to go see it 🤪
movies are no longer approved based on entertainment value. Return on investment is the only measure.
Hollywood is now run by the accountants and not the artists. The bottom line is now King (or Emperor).
Understatement of the year. Of the decade even.
